Breastwear was borne after I was supporting a friend through her breast cancer journey, when I saw and realised how uninspiring the post surgery bras are when attending appointments with her. This got me thinking about how could I make this a more positive experience for the women going through this? So by changing the design and also importantly adding colour to the bras it would lift and brighten the wearers mood, mindset, and spirits.
No longer does it have to be a disappointing moment putting on a dull post surgery bra during a difficult time, when the wearer can feel brighter and more positive about their experience feeling beautiful inside and out in pretty colours, prints and patterns.
Who are we for?
This post surgery bra is designed for women going through or who have been through any type of breast surgery, such as breast cancer, breast enhancement or breast reduction. Or for women who have had shoulder or upper body surgeries. Some women just want a soft comfortable front clasp bra. Other women struggle to get their arms behind their back to do up the bra if they’re elderly or may have arthritis.
